Dr. Joseph Schaefer is the owner of Ascension Physical Therapy LLC which began in 2024. He graduated from Regis University Physical Therapy program in 2022. He is married to his beautiful bride Claire Schaefer and has a son named Noah. He loves jiu-jitsu, golf, pickleball, fitness, and music. He began training Jiu-Jitsu March of 2024 and fell in love with the fitness, the discipline, self defense, and the amazing community of jiu-jitsu. He started Ascension with the goal of creating personalized jiu-jitsu rehabilitation to help his fellow students and coaches stay consistent with their passion. Jiu-Jitsu has helped Joseph become a better husband and father, improved his fitness, and strengthened his mental health. His goals are to ensure that his clients can stay on the mat and share in the same exhilaration and enjoyment he receives from Jiu-Jitsu.
